Then write a short post that includes how many mares you'd like and demonstrates what your character's personality is like, and the territory you'll roleplay on. Then mares can reply asking you to join your herd. You can either accept them or reject them. Once you have all the mares you want, post saying the herd is finished and the territory you'll all be going to.
